Mrs. and Mrs. GA Schoultz and little baby and Mrs. WA Prudhomme visited Washington, LA, Tuesday, returning Wednesday.

CC Higginbotham returned from Long Beach Tuesday after a delightful week stay.

Mrs. OB Hopkins returned Friday from Greenville, Texas, where she has been visiting her parents.

Mr. Ike Bendal and sister, Mrs. M. Meyer paid a visit to New Orleans last week.

WA Montgomery left Saturday for New Orleans to enter the college of Pharmacy there.

Fred Bauman, of New Iberia, is now employed at the Gazette office.

Miss Marie Campbell went to New Iberia last Thursday where she will visit with relatives and friends.

Miss Odille Smith who has been spending the summer at Mandeville, has returned to Lafayette and will teach the Whittington school.

Miss Ula Coronna has accepted a position in the Compress office.

Dr. GW Scranton, of Royville, was in town Saturday, shaking hands with his many friends.

Dr. and Mrs. RB Raney of Crowley, visited during the week Mrs. Raney's parents, Dr. and Mrs. JD Trahan.

JR Bonnet went to Donaldsonville Thursday.

Miss Edna Sprole returned yesterday from New Iberia after spending a week in that town, the guest of Mrs. Geo. Henderson.

AJ Sprole visited St. Martinville last Friday.

JG LeBlanc and little daughter, of Broussardville, were in town Monday.

Dr. NP Moss visited Alexandria Thursday.

D. Clarence Smith, of Haasville, La., was in Lafayette this week on his way to Houston, where he has accepted a position with the Post.

Mrs. Geo. R. Tolson, of Covington, after spending two weeks with Dr. FR Tolson's family, has returned home.

Arthur Crocker, of Lauderdale, Miss., visited friends here Sunday.

Judge MT Gordy, of Abbeville, was in Lafayette Saturday on business.

Alex C. Voorhies, representing a New Orleans firm, was a visitor to Lafayette yesterday.

PD Alpha, of Franklin, was in Lafayette Monday.

Mrs. and Mrs. Robt. N. Carsten and daughter, Miss Ollie, and Mr. Gus. Emery, of California, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. CD Boudreaux last Saturday.
